Abstract

We present the case of a young woman with Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID) whose underlying Granulomatous Lymphocytic Interstitial Lung Disease (GLILD) was repeatedly misdiagnosed as asthma exacerbations. The diagnostic delay led to multiple emergency visits and hospital admissions. This report underscores the diagnostic challenge of GLILD, its clinical and radiologic overlap with asthma and infections, and highlights the need for a high index of suspicion in CVID patients with persistent respiratory symptoms and diffuse pulmonary findings.
